Lake County Resource and Networking Expo

November 4, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join representatives of CYN Counseling Center at this annual opportunity to bring together educators and service agencies for families and students in need of support.

The Lake County Regional Office of Education, Mothers Trust Foundation, Special Education District of Lake County, Grayslake High School District 127 and Alliance for Human Services are co-sponsoring this event.

Before COVID, there was a childhood mental health crisis.  As challenging and painful as COVID has been, the disruption of this pandemic has pushed us all to find resilience during a remarkable time of stress.  Drawing on research from psychology, neuroscience, education and the social sciences along with over thirty years of educational experience, psychologist and educator, Dr. Doug Bolton will share some of the lessons we are learning from COVID that can help us build resilience in our children, ourselves and our communities.

Program Schedule:
•8:30-9:00 am Registration
•9:00-10:00 am Keynote Speaker, Dr. Doug Bolton, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of School Consultation for Formative Psychological Services
•10:15-12:00pm Exposition of various support agencies and organizations throughout Lake County.

Participants will have the opportunity to walk around and visit with agencies to hear about their services.
