Diane Petersen, LCSW

Diane attended Loyola University School of Social Work to earn her MSW. She has a long career in a wide variety of settings including outpatient mental health and a psychiatric in-patient hospital, home health and hospice, and grief therapy, crisis services including crisis response to a hospital, suicide prevention, homeless and runaway youth, domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, child welfare services including Intact Family Services and Foster Care, and substance treatment. Much of Diane’s career has been involved with training, teaching, consulting, and supervising in these various areas. After a brief retirement she began her part time work with CYN as a therapist and as a clinical supervisor. She has extensive background trauma intervention, cognitive behavioral interventions, and works with all ages, families, couples, and individuals.
