Laura Comilla is the Senior Director of Global Healthcare Consulting for Siemens Healthineers where she is responsible for the direction and expansion of their healthcare consulting business around the world. Laura brings to CYN’s governing board expertise in new business development, global territory management, client relationship building, contract negotiations and customer satisfaction in businesses of all kinds.
Laura studied Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Michigan State University and completed her master’s degree in chemistry from DePaul University in Chicago. She is certified in Operational Excellence from the American Society of Quality and Change Management. She is an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and the Clinical Laboratory Management Association. Laura also is an advocate for mentoring; she mentors undergraduates from her alma mater, Michigan State, and women aspiring to climb the healthcare career ladder.
Laura lives in Libertyville with her husband Lee Trollope and two daughters. Additional family lives in Australia including Lee’s son and daughter and grand baby. Her personal passions include travelling and exploring other cultures, gardening and trail running. She gives her time and talents to CYN because, “There is a mental health crisis in America. More needs to be done to give much needed access to mental health services. CYN’s mission struck a chord with me. I truly believe the programs are saving lives and saving families.”
