A native of Chicago’s south side, J. Witherspoon witnessed both sides of the justice system and its ability to impact lives. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and later obtain her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School ( now UIC) in Chicago.
Over the last 25 years, she has held an array of positions and sat on numerous boards centering around assisting others and improving their quality of life by utilizing her knowledge of the judicial system.
J. Witherspoon regularly attends training and seminars to ensure that she remains current on discrimination, employment, criminal, and civil law knowledge and practices.
