We are currently seeking a Master’s level, fully licensed Clinical Supervisor who will be responsible for providing supervision to the clinical staff as well as program oversight. The supervisor will also manage and provide quality control functions for files, program plans, and direct service to clients, while upholding and maintaining the tone and culture of the agency. This position will report to either the Program Director or Clinical Director.
Mental Health Therapist 1 and 2
CYN Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated therapist to provide direct mental health services to individuals and families, both in person and via telehealth. In this role, you’ll deliver therapy, complete assessments and documentation, and connect clients to additional resources as needed. Attendance at staff meetings and required trainings is expected as part of our collaborative and supportive team environment.
Mental Health Therapist (School-based)
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist (school-based) to provide direct mental health services to students in schools, including in-person or telehealth therapy, with occasional case management. Responsibilities include completing assessments, maintaining clinical documentation, attending staff meetings, and connecting clients with additional resources.
We are currently seeking a Child Welfare Specialist to add to our team! A successful employee in this role provides home based services for clients as per DCFS rules and procedures and direct services which may include, but are not limited to, teaching basic child care, nutrition, substance abuse treatment and education, meal planning, and more. In addition, our Child Welfare Specialist will maintain contact with appropriate DCFS personnel assigned to their cases, attend specific staffing’s as scheduled, completed required documentation and trainings, and more.
CYN is seeking a Therapeutic Mentor to work with justice involved youth, 11-18 years of age. Mentoring is performed one on one in community based settings. The Mentor will receive training on two evidenced based programs as well as ongoing training throughout their employment. Are you able to establish constructive relationships, exhibit good boundaries, and be an appropriate role model for their mentee? If so, you may be a fit for our Mentor position! Candidate should be flexible, creative, engaging, and able to meet with youth after school hours. Candidate will be working independently as well as with a team of other mentors.

Internship Opportunities (Submittals accepted November 2024-March 2025)
CYN is an internship site for Master’s-level students finishing degrees in Social Work and Professional Counseling. Our interns have the opportunity to work in our Grayslake office and local schools.
During this program, interns will receive the following valuable experience:
- Individual and group supervision with a licensed clinician; weekly
- Clinical meetings with all staff members; weekly
- Experience with a full client caseload (client numbers vary on intern schedule)
- Presentation of one case presentation per semester
- Responsibility of maintaining own case files and paperwork
- Attends at all training sessions.
