About Amanda

I completed my Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University in River Forest, IL.  I am currently working towards becoming an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).  I have experience providing therapy services to children, teenagers, and adults, often utilizing interventions such as: cognitive-behavioral and strength-based therapy.  I have completed extensive trainings in trauma-focused therapy for children and families (i.e., the ARC approach (Attachment, regulation & competency), as well as RBT (Registered behavior technician) training, and worked as an RBT in the past.
