About Courtnee
I received my B.A. in Sociology from Lake Forest College, and then received my master’s in social work from Dominican University in 2017 and I am a licensed social worker. I began my career working as a psych rehab counselor at Lake Park a residential home for adults with mental health disorders, and then spent 6 years working for the Lake County Health Department’s Crisis Care and Respite programs as well as assessing patients for treatment at nearby participating hospitals. After that I began work as a school social worker with students ages 6-18 who had been directly impacted by trauma.
