Kurt has served on CYN’s Board of Directors since 2017, including two years as the Board President.
Kurt Peterson is a senior manager in Wipfli LLP which is among the top business and accounting consulting firms in the country. With over fourteen years of experience, he has assisted many nonprofit organizations in fulfilling their mission by overseeing audit engagements and client relationships, as well as working with clients to maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
Kurt has a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois. He is married to Patty and has three young children. He enjoys playing sports with his kids and physical challenges like the Hustle (up the previously named Hancock Building). Kurt dedicates his time, talent and treasure to CYN because he believes there remains a stigma around mental health despite the growth in media coverage.
